Review process

Graylist accepts reports from people describing conduct they experienced directly. Every reporter completes Turnstile and email verification. Reports involving serious allegations may require SMS verification.

Claim review

Graylist identifies the specific factual claims in each account. A moderator may request relevant leases, invoices, notices, messages, records, or photographs. Private documents are checked for consistency with the claims they are intended to support.

Publication review

A moderator screens each report for threats, harassment, private personal information, hearsay, and unsupported criminal accusations. The moderator may request clarification, request documents, remove identifying details, hold the report, reject it, or approve an anonymized account for publication.

Published labels

Verification labels state which checks Graylist completed. They do not state that a court, regulator, or Graylist independently proved every published claim. A named person or organization may submit a response or correction.
